Thịt gà rửa sạch, cắt miếng vừa ăn. Trộn thịt gà với Teriyaki, tỏi, hành băm, thêm một ít hạt tiêu, ướp khoảng 2 - 3 tiếng để thịt gà được thấm.
Phi hành, tỏi thơm, cho gà vào đảo đều đến khi thịt gà chín thì đậy kín nắp nồi, khi đun bạn cho thêm phần nước sốt ướp thịt vào chảo, nêm muối, đường, tiêu vào cùng.
Đun lửa nhỏ từ 25 đến 30 phút, đến khi phần thịt chín mềm và có màu thịt vừa ý thì tắt bếp. Chuẩn bị cà chua cắt lát, hành tướt sợi.
Bánh mỳ nướng giòn, cho cà chua cắt lát nhỏ vào, bên trên gắp thêm một ít thịt, có thể thêm dưa leo, hay đồ chua ngâm chua ngọt tùy theo sở thích. Nếu muốn ăn có vị cay hơn có thể rưới vào ít tương ớt.
